Doodling on your handheld has never been easier thanks to Gefa's homebrew application, PaintMIXER. The developer recently dropped by the QJ.NET forums to inform us that a new build to the MSPaint-like app is now available for download.

The new build (version 2.5.0) gives you the option to tweak the PSP's CPU clock, with the initial setting of 266 MHz now modifiable through the PaintMIXER .ini file. The developer was also able to add a couple of improvements to the app's controls to give users an easier time using it.

As for the rest of the new changes since our previous coverage, here's the complete changelog taken from the project's release thread:
  • Added a new option in the ini file, in the witch is possible to change CPU Clock - initially set to 266 MHz-.
  • Added new fonts
  • Improved the keyboard, now is possible to write numbers
  • Improved the sensibility analog management
If you have any feedback regarding the latest version of PaintMIXER, you drop the developer a line by visiting the PSP Development forum, accessible through the link below. Also, don't forget to check out the Readme documentation included in the file bundle before copying any files onto your handheld.
