Alobe Parental Password Cracker: reads the parental password from Flash

Coder DGGC92 has come out with another interesting piece of homebrew that should help you bypass the password protection scheme inherent in the Sony PlayStation Portable.

It's called the Alobe Parental Password Cracker, and it essentially reads the password from the flash for you to use to unlock the restricted functions of your PSP. According to DGGC92, the application also saves the password onto a text file in the root of the memory stick.

That means that you can retrieve it for future use. Furthermore, it seems to be simple enough to install: just stick it into the Game150 folder, and you can apparently use it. The author didn't note which FWs it works on though.

This is a handy app to use if you accidentally locked yourself out of your own PSP. Of course, we have no idea why you'd forget a four digit combination, but that is probably a story for another day. In any case, have fun using the app!
